Fabian Rios, College and Career Advisor
We guide our students with academic and college counselors that build pathways for those aiming for college, technical careers, immediate employment, or personal explorations after graduation. We also develop their abilities to protect their mental health through courses and individual counseling. My role is to get students and their families exploring a broad range of training and career options and resources starting in 9th grade and their next steps after Newport.

Bellevue Schools Foundation President, Susan Ishii-Yin
With my son graduating this year, I’m reflecting with deep appreciation on the programs the Bellevue Schools Foundation makes possible. Through opportunities like the Student Ambassador Program, he grew as a leader, strengthened his communication skills, and developed a deeper sense of connection and responsibility to his school community. The impact of these programs, from early learning and computer science to mental health support, will be long-lasting and help shape a bright future.
