Classrooms

Always coach your student to ask questions directly to the teacher. It’s important that they begin to learn these self-advocacy skills now.

You may always contact the teacher directly if your student cannot resolve the question.

Use our website staff directory to find contact information.

OR

Ask your student to show you the OneNote for the class. It will include a page from the teacher about the best ways to get support in that class. You also will find most lessons and assignments (with instructions) in OneNote.

Parents may always contact the teacher directly if your student cannot resolve the question.

  • Continue to coax your student to advocate while you step back to teach and coach. Your student must learn and practice problem-solving skills.
