Parking & Building Access Changes to Increase Safety

The illustration and article below detail important changes to access to our parking and buildings for students and visitors. 

Key changes include:

• New student parking lot accessible only from Factoria Blvd. near the Softball Fields.
• Only student drivers allowed in Student Lot. No drop-offs or pick-ups.
• All building doors automatically lock at 8:15AM (time updated Sept 5) and stay locked throughout the school day. 
• Starting at exactly 8:15AM (time updated Sept 5), visitors & students must enter ONLY through the Main Office door in the Flagpole Courtyard on the East/Factoria side of the building.
• The Staff-Only lane that connects the east and west parking lots is CLOSED to all student, family, and visitor drivers.

Student Drop-Off & Building Access

• Before 8:15 AM (time updated Sept 5): Both east and west sides of the building have drop-off areas in the same east and west side areas as last year. Doors will be unlocked.
• After 8:15AM Doors Lock: Students CANNOT access the building from the west side (football stadium on 124th Avenue).
  • ONLY the Main Door near the front office on the east side of the building will be unlocked. (Off Factoria Blvd near our flagpole).
  • All other doors lock automatically. To keep our students, staff, and building safe, staff and students will NOT open doors for anyone after 8:15 AM.
  • If your student cannot enter the door by 8:15 AM, please drop them on the Factoria Blvd side of our building.
• Families AND students must enter and depart the parking lot using the same driveway. DO NOT CROSS CAMPUS.
  • If you are running late, plan to enter the parking lot off Factoria Blvd.
  • Drivers entering from Factoria Blvd. must wait, drop off and exit back to Factoria Blvd.
  • When you enter from 124th Ave, you MUST circle through drop-off and depart 124th Ave.  If your student can’t reach the door by 8:15 AM, use the Factoria Blvd. driveway.

Student Parking

• Student Parking by permit only is located on the east side of the building (Factoria Blvd side).
• Student drivers must enter the student parking lot off Factoria Blvd just north of the softball field (between Knight Court and Coal Creek Blvd.).
• This ENTRY and PARKING LOT is for STUDENT permits ONLY.
• No drop-offs or pick-ups in the student parking lot. 
• Student Parking is a limited privilege. We expect students to be aware of our traffic and use instructions and always follow them.
• Students unable to respect the safety of others will lose parking privileges.

Guest Parking

• Enter ONLY from Factoria Blvd.
• Visitor and parent parking is located at the NORTHEAST end of campus ONLY (between the red light on Factoria Blvd and our Tennis Courts).
• Access the building through the east doors near the flagpole. 
• All visitors must enter through the Main Office and pick up a visitors pass.
• West doors are LOCKED at 8:15 AM. Visitors will NOT be able to access the building from the west side after 8:15 AM daily. Park and enter from the east side.

No Traffic through Campus: Enter and Depart using the same access point

• We do not permit any student or visitor car traffic through campus from Factoria to 124th Ave or from 124th Ave to Factoria.
• Our students walk across the STAFF ONLY east-to-west emergency lane to access fields all day long, loading field trip buses, completing outdoor assignments, etc.  
• If you enter from 124th, circle around and depart 124th. 
• If you enter from Factoria, drop off and exit to Factoria. 
• DO NOT cross campus

Staff Parking

• Staff Parking is located on the west side of the building off 124th Ave.
• This is staff ONLY parking
• West doors are LOCKED at 8:05 AM. Visitors will NOT be able to access the building from the west side after 8:05 AM daily.
