Taking Care of Business Day #1 -Tuesday, August 25 - Newport High School - Seniors & Juniors w/Photography

Seniors - 8:30am to 10:30am

Juniors - 12:30pm to 2:30pm

Taking Care of Business Day #2 - Wednesday, August 26 - Newport High School - Sophomores & Freshman w/Photography

Sophomores - 8:30am to 10:30am

Freshman - 12:30pm to 2:30pm

Come at your posted time for:

• Student ID & Yearbook Photos are taken
• Student Parking Permits (12th & 11th Gr with valid Driver's License) **online application available in early August 2026, Newport website - Transportation and Parking
• ORCA cards issued
• Laptop disbursement
• Counselor/Admin Schedule Questions 

If you miss Taking Care of Business Days, students will have an additional opportunity to take a student photo/ID on Wednesday, September 2 after school.

Students who miss both Taking Care of Business Days and Picture Make-Up Day will not have a photo in the yearbook.

All other items will be by appointment with necessary staff member once school begins.
